Everyone has those things that they really like that just sticks with them throughout their lives. Some of these things become some a base for hobbies and jobs. For me, my inspiration has been the various media I’ve consumed over the years. Some of the things that come to mind is video games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Kirby, Pokémon, and Splatoon. I was a fan of the book series Warrior cats and that has made me a fan of animals when I first started really working on making art. TV shows like Adventure Time, OK KO, and other cartoons helped me understand how captivating animation can be. And anime in general really captures the charisma of it all!
Most of my art work I have made personally has been fan art. Mostly that of video games. I always found it fun to create art from these worlds. From the base game/media, there is a story with plots and characters. With these story plot points you can create work based off of them. They also help inspire me on my own original work when creating stories. I hope someday that people will look to my work and be hit with the same flash if inspiration I was when I first started
