Hello! My name is Jazmine Ramsey. I am currently a student at Drexel University, majoring in the field of animation. I’m someone who loves the art profession and I aspire to create content to share many of my ideas out. Ever since I was young I love drawing and making crafts of some kind. It allowed me freedom to do whatever I thought of at the time. As well as art being able to bring joy to others and connect with various interests. I remember all the way back in elementary school, a kid in an upper grade gave me a drawing of her’s. It honestly looked really amazing in my eyes. I feel like I was always at least a little creative with the stuff I’ve made but that drawing really showed me that art is something I should express to others so that they may as well, walk a similar path. I’ve dreamed of being on a small team for passion projects.
So far in my journey I’ve self taught myself to be a sketch artist for small projects of my own. I’ve also learned quite a bit of 3D animation skill and video editing from my studies so far with Drexel. I’m from New Jersey but I’ve moved to many other states while growing up. Beyond studying animation I sketch character art and make digital illustrations primarily of my interest. I also may make commissions for others from time to time. I consume quite a bit of animated content, primarily from web series and video games. I enjoy seeing the creation of said media and seeing them in motion. As of now, many of my major projects I am working on are primarily for school, however I am making scripts for many of my comics I plan to hopefully release, so keep an eye out for that!
